I was a Uni-ball Signo 207 loyalist, having them in every color in addition to the standard black and blue...until I discovered the Sharpie S-Gel. Now I'm happy to have either on hand.
I like the Pilot G2 Limited. They feel a little fancier than the regular pilot G2. And expensive enough to be a nice treat, but not embarrassing. Around $10-15 and then you can get refills forever.
I don't usually comment but I love stationery too much to not mention my newest pen obsession: "Kaco Soft Touch Retractable Gel Ink Pen". It has a rubberized/matte plastic barrel, incredibly smooth ink flow, some of the fastest drying ink I've ever used, and (I discovered) comes in quite a few colors. I had recently gone to a new fancy restaurant, and this was the pen they gave me to sign the check with. I cannot recommend this pen enough.
Signio's are fantastic! I'm very fond of the new Sharpie S-Gel 0.7 which never smear for anything (might even be leftie-approved?), and I'm also partial of Pilot Precise V5 which never skip (my big writing pet peeve). PS - My book is en route, congratulations on the launch!
Classic Bic with the Cristal barrel. I just keep going back to those. Pentel Energels in purple ink had a nice run but I just love me a classic Bic in medium ballpoint!
I love those pens too! When I went out early on maternity leave, I made my coworker friend go into my office to bring them to me because I didn't want anyone stealing them while I was away LOL.
A practical note-- did someone at editor/publisher then transcribe your handwritten novel or did you do it as part of the drafting/writing process?

Love the Uniball signo! Also partial to the pentel inkjoy and the zebra sarasa clip.
I’ve used both, but I always go back to the signo…in blue…
How about Lamy or Retro '51? Congrats on another terrific book!
Uni-ball signo dx 0.38mm :) it’s a cap pen instead of a clicky pen. It is a reliable, satisfying, no-drama pen.

I see you talking about pens the same week Madame Vice President's preference dropped :)
Personally, I buy packs of the Papermate Ink Joy Gel Pen 0.7mm - both the black as well as the rainbow of colors https://inkjoy.papermate.com/en_US/IJ_GP_PEN.html
