I really enjoyed Counterfeit by Kirsten Chen. Not a romance, but a captivating plot and lots to chew on regarding the model minority myth.

all about love by bell hooks! Have been spending a lot of time with it as almost every page seems to have such brilliant insights on all different types of love. Specifically enjoyed the sections on friendship/platonic love and how this is often not centered in our lives/society but should be!! The romantic love insights were great as well.

I just finished savvy Sheldon feels good as hell by taj McCoy. It’s great to see someone turn a bad time in their lives into a positive journey. Rediscovering her true dreams and making hard choices was inspiring and motivating.
